Brasília
e Região Convention & Visitors Bureau is
a private, non-profit Foundation, which aims to promote
Brasília as a touristic destination, by supporting
the income of events, making good use, for such thing,
of marketing strategies.
The basis for the development of our work is guaranteed
by the private initiative, together with the tourism
encouragers of the city and the legal institutions
of each segment, such as ABAV (Brazilian Association
of Travel Agencies), EMBRATUR (Brazilian Institute
of Tourism), SINDHOBAR (Hotels, Restaurants and Bars
Syndicate), ABRE, ABIH (Brazilian Association of Hotels
Industry), among others.
BRC&VB’s work consists in spreading information
about Brasília, presenting its infrastructure
for events, its convention center; supporting with
institutional promotional material; the elaboration
of a dossier with all the evaluation data for the
event, supporting letters from governmental and private
entities; and yet, the feasibility of inspection visits
and contact with professionals of the area.
